PAC Rats Meeting
Thursday, June 6, 2002

Meeting called to dis order at 7:05 pm.

In attendance: Madelyn Andre, Dawn and Scott Begin, Raymond Cleveland, Tina Farmer, Billy Graham, Tessa Johnson, Diane Kaffka, Bill Mezger, Beth Zurawicz and Barry Zurawicz, who was kind enough to fill in for Paul at this meeting.

1. Reading of the minutes from last meeting was waived.

2. Old Business

A. Thank yous for all of the PAC Rats who participated in the South Holland Memorial Day Parade.

B. There isn't a B. Ooops!

3. New Business

A. We are still looking for directors for the fall show. It will be a series of one act plays. It's scheduled for Friday and Saturday, October 25 and 26, Thursday, October 31, and Friday and Saturday, November 1 and 2. If you want to take the plunge contact Ellie ASAP.

B. Since there is no show this summer we will be cleaning the theater. Costume shop - June 24-28, scene shop - July 8-12. Free food is a definite possibility for those who help out.

C. Thanks to Diane Kaffka who provided us with tickets for Great America. The outing is scheduled for Sunday, June 23. We will be leaving Clan Zurawicz at 9 am. Anyone still interested in purchasing tickets should contact Diane and arrange to pay by the 23rd.

D. Happy Birthday, Barry!!! Barry will attempt to look surprised at his surprise party on Saturday, June 22 at Clan Zurawicz. For more details contact Megan at listpig@earthlink.net.

E. Plans are being made for the 4th of July parade in Dolton. Cook out at Clan Z to follow. More info will be available in the Rat Rag and through email.

F. Our yearly outing to the Bristol Renaissance Faire will be on Sunday, July 28. We will leave Clan Zurawicz at 9 am.

G. Any ideas for future PAC Rat outings are welcome. Here is what we have currently scheduled.

June: Barry's Surprise Party and Great America

July: Bristol Renaissance Faire

August: Backstage tour of the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre at Navy Pier on Saturday, August 17. Tickets are $5 each. See Second City production of Holy War, Batman! or The Yellow Cab of Courage or Thank Heaven It Wasn't 7/11 in the evening at 8pm. Tickets are $17. More info will be available at the next PAC Rats meeting.

H. The next PAC Rats meeting will be on Thursday, July 11 at 7 pm in the PAC Lobby.

4. Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 pm.
